New 70 ACCOUNTABILITY CHALLENGE 🎉🕺🏻
This may not be for you, but this is one of the best things I’ve ever found for implementing new habits/behaviors.
Starting tomorrow, I’m begging a new 70 day accountability challenge, implementing @andyfrisella #powerlist . I’m trying to internalize this to make it a habit which just occurs automatically.
I discovered an amazing system a while back for implementing new habits/breaking bad ones, when set up properly makes it almost guaranteed the new behavior will become internalized. .
This is the same system I used to integrate the daily habit of mediation every AM, which I recorded the progress of on IG, and it happens automatically now without any effort, as a positive habit should. .
The science behind this amazing system is humans generally are more motivated to move away from pain than they are to move towards pleasure, so you need to design accountability challenges where it’s just easier to do the new productive habits instead of whatever the negative conscience is. .
Im lucky, bc my friend Brandon is a great #accountabillybuddy in that he’s a bit obnoxious when I mess up and rubs it in, which really pushes my buttons and is EXACTLY what you need to get leverage on yourself. I’ve had others before him and it didn’t work bc they were too nice. Between this and having to Venmo him $15 every Missed day, it’s easier just to do the new habit, haha, which is the point.
This system and topic overall are worthy of many posts and videos, but I just wanted to get this documented here to track the progress over the next 70 days. 🕺🏻
If you’re serious about changing FAST, this is one of the most powerful tools I’ve found. (if you design it properly)
