I wish I had started years ago. I would have saved myself a lot of nights literally crying myself to sleep because I hated the way I looked and felt. I though the first thing anyone noticed about me was “fat”. I wanted an easy way out. I wanted a magic diet where I only ate Reese’s for a month and lost 60 lbs. I wanted a magical tea that i drink at night that would summon the weight loss fairies to come take away my fat. I wanted to be skinny, I didn’t care how strong I was. Once I switched my mentality to wanting to be STRONG, that’s when I changed. I wanted to build my body to be a functional machine. I wanted to fuel my body for my workouts. I look FORWARD to setting foot in the gym everyday and making progress. You won’t get there if you are looking for shortcuts. Consistency is KEY. The only reasons that consistency is not touted as the holy grail solution are because it isn’t easy, and it doesn’t make anyone an easy buck to tell you that hard work pays off. Start today. You’ll be glad you did! •

Was looking at the contrast between how my weights started and how they ended up today and it dawned on me what a parallel to my journey it is:
I start thinking I got it all together.... And then I get into the meat of the program and things get a little messy - I realize I have a lot to work on! 🔹I'm challenged - mentally and physically
🔹I sometimes make a mess of my nutrition 🔹I want to quit
🔹I get frustrated

But all that mess is what gets me to my goal! Just like these weights beimg strewn about..... if they stayed all nice and neat and stacked up that would mean they aren't being used, thus I'm getting nowhere!
The road to your goals will get a little messy at times! But that means you're DOING something!! 💣 KEEP doing something!
