Back in Melbourne. Back in the freezing cold winter. Mentally and physically exshuasted.
I have been travelling for the past 6 months. Exploring the east coast of Australia. A month in Thailand, 2 months in Cambodia, 3 weeks in Taiwan. And sadly only 1 week in seoul, south korea after i finally made the decision to head home early due to increasingly frustrating gut problems as well as an increase in anxiety and depression complexes which in hindsight i realised i had not prepared for efficiently before departing on my trip.
Funny i come back home to focus on my mental health yet being home also makes the depression worse in its own ways.... i mean come on.. its freggn 4 degrees in the mornjng here.. freezing cold and gloomy melbourne weather aint gonna help! However... For now i take a pause on my physical journey and focus on a mental journey.
I am doing everything i can to get myself back up and running (i am 100% returning to cambodia! Mark my words) but sadly it means i will need to keep myself in Melbourne for a little while as i work on a number of issues effecting my healthmentally and physically.
Ok now im ranting pointlessly.
Guess im just writing this post to express my frustration but to also see the beauty in a tough situation. To let people know things are tough but great things are to come! It feels at the moment that i am at a low point but i am also aware of how much these last 5 months have helped me grow! To the people i have met, the things i have seen and the places i have been. Its been an amazing journey and im looking forward to my next one. For now... expect less travel pics and more mental health art and extremly long posts haha.
If you have read this all. Thankyou for hearing out my rant! 🙏 now wait until the podcasts start!!! 😆
Love to all those amazing positive people i have met along this incredible journey. I will see you all soon i hope!
