Wedding days are typically super hectic. In order to combat the feeling of craziness, there are few moments throughout the day where the bride and groom need to just take a breather!
This is one of the reasons I’m a fan of doing a first look, but if a couple chooses to stick to tradition and not see each other until the aisle, there are still ways to pause.
When the bride is getting dressed, that’s a good time to ask all the bridesmaids to step out of the room for a minute or two. When the groom is waiting for the ceremony to start and the groomsmen are ushering, that’s a good time to take a moment. Right after the ceremony has ended, that’s always a good time to take a breather together to celebrate (while guests are leaving the ceremony space)! Once we’ve gotten through family portraits and wedding party portraits, that’s always a good time to just have a few minutes to yourself to look around and take in the fact that all of your favorite people are in one place to celebrate your love!
