This morning ,I woke up to the sounds of chainsaws. The developers across the street had cut down four or five Crepe myrtle that have been in this neighborhood for over fifty years. I called my council person, and was able to get code compliance here quickly. The treecutters left, as I was informed that they were having other issues with the city and the neighborhood association. I managed to save four trees, but their status is still up in the air. If you see something you don't like try to do something about it. I'm not digging this gentrification going on around here, but that's all I could do for now.
