MIKE FORCE AIRSOFT CLUB: graduated Recondo School after 6 months of training. The transformation of my skills was night and day, and I still believe it was the single most important training I have had over the years. Taught by Dr. Steve King US Army Green Baret (ret). Recondo School is based on the Vietnam era training for 6-9 man squads covering individual skills, team of two, and squad based tactics. Recondo training is alive today in the US Army 82nd airborne from my understanding.
To graduate you have to successfully complete a series of individual and squad based missions and return alive to be graded on your execution and tactics. If you failed to complete your objective, or died trying you had to take another months training and test again. It was not easy, and I failed two (2) times. One by death and one by objective. Third time I did pass!
I try to follow a Combat Camera rule avoiding any staged photo shoots to help express in image the raw emotion and feeling of any event. The emersion of the exact moment I feel brings all of us into the experience in that snippet of time. Welcome to the squad!
