Its definitely slow cooker weather. Last night I chucked in Beef, Sweet Potatoes 🍠, Onions, Carrots 🥕, Celery, Mushrooms 🍄 and a couple of cloves of garlic and chillies 🌶
Added a tin of tomatoes 🍅, tomato purée and enough water to cover all the contents.
Seasoned it with black pepper and smoked paprika and gave it a good stir.
This morning I added uncooked Quinoa, Basmati Rice and Frozen peas. Switched off the slow cooker and let it all cook in the residual heat.
It it tastes as nice as its smells we’re on to a winner!
