A year ago I did not know how all these things could fit into my life. I would yo-yo between seasons of restriction with extreme workouts and just "living and enjoying life." I THOUGHT IT HAD TO BE ONE OR THE OTHER. I didn't think I could be "fit" and also enjoy my loved ones, my hobbies and my life. It drained me so much that I knew I had to find a better way. And I did. People tell me, "it isn't that easy." And that's partially true. But truth is, living how I was living wasn't easy. I made the investment - time, money and effort - to grow beyond these limitations I put on myself. To disempower some false beliefs I had. To become authentically me. And to TAKE CARE OF MYSELF. I am not a fluffy person who preaches "love yourself and life will be great" because even if you love yourself, life promises you nothing. But I can promise you that if you don't work to accept yourself as you are, each day, and live your truth, life will never be as great as it can be.

Fitness doesn't have to be hard.
It doesn't have to dominate your life.
It shouldn't serve as a form of comparison or self hate but as a form of self love and enjoyment.
Having the body you want will come when you get the mindset you need. For me, that consisted of simplicity, balance, and enjoyment. Fitness will always be a big part of my life, it's my career, one of my hobbies, and one of my strengths. But, I won't make it my whole life ever again. ......

1 package Vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon Wheat germ
1/2 . Banana, sliced
1/3 cup Granola
Preparations Layer strawberries, blueberries, container yogurt, wheat germ, sliced banana, and granola in a large bowl. Continue to build the parfait, repeating the layers until all of the ingredients are used completely.
