It's been awhile since I've been on here and a lot has happened! All of my boys have been in the hospital for some reason in the last 30 days! I found out my cousin was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breat Cancer. I've been working on fundraisers and gathering family and friends to participate in Making Strides walk next weekend to support her. Started remodeling my kitchen and it's still not done!! Plus I've started a couple projects too all while being pretty sick myself. Although I missed working out, I really feel it was a needed break for my body. I'm feeling better and ready to start back up and continue on my fitness journey! Diet has actually been pretty clean and I ordered a couple of items to add to the home gym to change things up too! πŸ’ͺ #letsgetit

Alternative workout today as any type of cardio is out of the question. Had to go to the doctor for cold and breathing issues and my asthma is induced right now. Prescribed steroids for the next 21 days, so hoping to feel better in the next couple of days. I was able to get some leg and ab work in before hacking away. *Vegas in on my mind and in my heart* Continued thoughts and prayers.

After a stressful and challenging September, I am excited to say "Hello" to October and establish new goals to kickoff fall! I want to see what I can accomplish in 31 days! For the month of October, I vow to be active every single day and focus on improving my overall nutrition. Sometimes, it seems as if the prep is more time consuming than the actual session and I find this frusturating as I am usually limited on the amount of time I have and just need to jump in and get it done! I will develop a plan for the entire month with alternative methods for those days when my time is extremely limited or just when life happens and my plans exlpode! I'll do the same for my meals as that is definitely my weakest link. I don't plan and I don't prep. πŸ€” For October, I'll establish a meal plan with alternatives and prep once a week. There's a lot going on right now and the only way I'll be successful and continue moving forward is through planning and execution. Also, after visiting with my practioner this week, I am reminded that I need to acknowlwdge my challenges and follow the plan set for me instead of trying to prove to myself that I don't have limitations and push myself too hard. I can and will definitely make progress if I work within my limitations while slightly increasing my workouts as I improve. It will take time, patience, and perseverance but will keep me from causing more harm leading to setbacks. I'm really looking forward to this personal challenge for me! πŸ€—

Finally! Completed Tabata Tuesday and Forty 5's yesterday! It was a struggle but I got through it and let go of some serious stress. In 2 weeks, my youngest had hernia surgery, last Thursday hubby threw his back out and was on bed rest, and then 2am Monday we rushed my oldest to the ER(he's fine now)! And during the last 2 weeks I've dealt with this plus waking up to SWAT team combing woods behind me, working fulltime all with Strep and nasty cold.
So YEAH yesterday was pretty f'ing good workout and NEEDED! Can't wait to do it again today!
