This evening I took part in the very popular annual charity Poker run for the Assisi animal sanctuary. The poker run started off in Bangor where I spotted this lovely RVF400R which was doing the run also and then I was joined by a VFR400R once owned by a friend of mine which still has my old Ethos exhaust fitted, I regret selling that. First stop was in Millisle where I took the quick video to show the queue of people waiting to get their next card for their poker hand..like I said, it's a popular charity run... then the next two stops where a bit rushed but at the end there was only one winner... 4 bottles of Bushes beer from the isle of man A trophy And tickets to see Jon Richardson Delighted!
I hope you enjoyed the beer @koolhandchris https://columnm.com/honda-vfr400r-collection-like-none-other/
Spent the day today riding around the Silent Valley and around Spelga Dam located in the mountains of Mourne in beautiful sun shine. The roads around there are absolutely fabulous, twisting and winding, hairpins and fast S bends, I really needed to get myself a GoPro to be able to share these roads and my travels with you properly. Once out of the Mournes I stopped in Newcastle,a popular spot for bikers, for a quick Mr Whippy (ice-cream!) before returning home. A great day out soon to be repeated.
My old track bike half way through its transformation from worn out race bike to freshly painted worn out track bike. I'd started modifying it to the HRC SS/SP400 manual at this stage but I was missing a lot of parts, I still tried to ride the wheels of it but !
