Todayโ€™s workout felt like absolute ๐Ÿ’ฉ and Iโ€™m feeling so many emotions rn idk where to start. 1st pic is my deadlift form from the side since Aug and you can see that I start rounding my lower back more and more as I start training with higher weights. I knew this was an issue due to weak glutes/hams and I was planning on taking some time to srsly built them up after the meet. However the last couple of weeks Iโ€™ve been feeling so fatigued bc my back takes a toll and burns out my CNS. So Iโ€™ve been practicing my form and tried pulling 242 with a more neutral back today and my glutes cramped up so much I couldnโ€™t pull (2nd vid). I felt so defeated and just wanted to get the weight up so I tried pulling it sumo for a double when Iโ€™ve never pulled anything over 225 w/ sumo before (I know, yolo move) but it moved (3rd vid)!! Iโ€™m so conflicted on what to do for the next 3 weeks. Should I just pull conventional or should I pull sumo for the meet??? Iโ€™m leaning towards just sticking with conventional as itโ€™s the one I worked with the last 4 months or so but it makes me sad that the stance Iโ€™ve worked with is harder than the one I barely use ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ It doesnโ€™t help that I didnโ€™t eat enough yesterday and the weights always feel heavier at this gym for some reason ๐Ÿ˜ข Iโ€™ve been able to get all the sets Iโ€™ve planned for myself for this prep up until now and I guess Iโ€™m frustrated that the weights didnโ€™t move for the first time, especially so close to the meet. Iโ€™m trying not to make impulsive decisions based on one bad day but itโ€™s tough tbh. ๐Ÿ˜ž Iโ€™m hoping I can put my thoughts together soon and have a better deadlift session next time ๐Ÿ™ #rantover
