Prince didn’t just reinvent music. He also dreamed up forward-thinking outfits and accessories, with help from a whole network of trusted designers and creators. Like the now-iconic "3rd Eye" sunglasses, which were created by Minnesota's own Corianna and Brianna Dotson, a.k.a. @cocoandbreezy .
In typical Prince fashion, his vision for the glasses was clear and
urgent. "I would love for you guys to make us some glasses with three lenses," he told Coco and Breezy. "Can you have them ASAP?" The twin sisters got to work immediately, sharing different designs with @prince until they settled on the "3rd Eye" look, which they called "Tres." On the very same day that Coco and Breezy delivered the finished glasses to Prince, he shared them with the world by wearing them for his epic November
1, 2014 performance with #3RDEYEGIRL on @nbcsnl .
In addition to tapping Coco and Breezy to create his new sunglasses, Prince also invited the sisters to @officialpaisleypark to preview some of his new music, and even asked them to bring their parents along to the studio. He clearly respected Coco and Breezy's talent and wanted to nurture their creativity and budding business.
"People still ask about those glasses all the time," Coco said. "Prince was so supportive, and so happy with what we created together. He really believed in us." #Prince
