Progress! Got the little 200 running and swapped out the handlebars and grips. It made a big difference. Also got the shorted front turn signals all done up. Still need to mount the new seat and trim both fenders and mount the front one.
Picked up a little 1980 cm200t project for a cafe project/commuter/fun bike. First task is gettibg it running (pretty sure uts the coil) so while waiting for parts I decided to try and reuse the factory turn signals rather than buy after market ones. I was able to disassemble them (some mangling required), cut the stems down, and then weld them back together so that the factory end is still there. I forgot to measure the original length but the shortened ones are about 1.25". Waiting on paint to dry then hopefully reassemble without destroying the housing.
