4 months old- 1 month adjusted 💛
These sweet lil babes are doing SO good. They sleep most of the day (besides eating every 4 hours), and yet I still feel like I don't get very much down time. The life of twins, right?! Sage is 7 1/2 lbs, and Nova is 8 1/2. They don't even fit on the percentile chart because they are so small for their age! But that's for obvious reasons. We are wanting them to gain weight faster, so I'm taking it upon myself to eat more cookies. So selfless of me, I know. 😝 You can clearly see a size difference when you see them in person though. Sage has always been the smaller one- but she definitely hasn't lacked in strength! They are both holding their heads up, they make eye contact, and they are SOOOO close to smiling! I can't wait for them to start interacting with us. They are loving the tube-free life! They are still on their Apnea monitors, and will stay on them for the next month or so.
As for me? I'm alive! The days are beginning to blur. Most of the time I don't even know what day it is. In a way I'm grateful for the busy, because that means I don't have time to dwell on the PTSD that I fight through every day. Ben has been amazing in that aspect, and he constantly encourages me to have a little "me" time. I haven't blogged in a second, and I've really been debating on getting back into it. You know, share this twin life thing and ramble about more of my feelings... because talking about your feelings is GOOD for you! All in all, things are WELL. Being a mom to twins is the BEST THING EVER. I still pinch myself. 💛 #micropreemies #preemiestrong #26weekers
Also, my sweet friend @tatianalindsley made these beautiful dresses! How talented is she?! 😍
