Coming home from a good business meeting got me feeling some type of way.
Day 9 #22daypushupchallenge
I was nominated by @ganzy1428 my name here to do 22 push-ups a day for 22 days to raise awareness for the high rate of suicides by combat veterans. Every 65 minutes a combat veteran ends their life. That is 22 veterans a day. 8,030 combat veterans a year. A tragedy that can be prevented.
If you know of someone who is in need of help, the number for the Veteran Crisis Line is 1-800-273-8255. Select option 1. .
Crisis support for Veterans and their families is available 24/7/365.
I nominate and invite @cmwmix to join me in the 22 day push-up challenge.
The rules of this challenge are simple: .
* Once you are nominated, your 22 days will commence the following day. .
* Every day record yourself completing 22 push-ups. Try your very best to reach 22. If that means doing assisted (from your knees) push-ups or that you have to stop and take a break that's fine but try to get them all done in one video. .
* Every day nominate a different person to join us on this journey of raising awareness. We want to keep this going so please choose people you believe will do it. .
* Most importantly be creative with your posts. This is a simple way to raise awareness and show our support to these brave men and women who gave their all for our freedom. .
No treatment fits all and no treatment is affordable for all. Which is where we step in—and you can help.
$22 is a little towards a lot. Commit your donation and tag a friend to donate $22 too. Help us win the war against Veteran suicide.
