Today marks the end of the weight loss challenge at work and I am very happy to say that I hit my goal of losing a whopping 20 pounds! I am now at 169.6 lbs and feeling amazing! Honestly there are no secrets or shortcuts to weight loss. As long as you track your calories, maintain a calorie deficit and stay active then you can lose weight too. It’s going to take hard work, discipline and consistency but name something in life worth having that didn’t require those things. The fact is, nothing in life worth having has ever come easy, but that’s why it’s worth it because your earned it! .

Anytime you need a little pick me up or just a nice break, step outside! ☀️ Fresh air is so under-utilised in how it affects our moods, at least for me. Sitting at a desk for too long indoors can make you feel confined and really does drag down your energy sometimes. I love taking my computer outside to work. If you can’t do that, take a quick walk. Smell the air, feel the breeze. It sounds silly, but it really helps get a little reset in you to lift your spirits!

I was told once, “if you lift you will only look bigger and not really lean out”, “don’t weight train until you are at a desire weigh and then tone up”. You know what!?! All fucken Bs! That is the excuse you want to tell yourself. I used to do cardio only and was 148/149lbs when I first bought this dress (5years ago and I was 4 months preggo) Now, all i do is for 1hr to sometimes 2hrs of weight training and lifting a day with 30-45 min of cardio on top. I am currently sitting at 162lbs and am fitting into clothes I used to fit at 149lbs. So fuck the cardio only, pick up some weights and lift! Because that is the only way you till truly lean out and tone! ‼️Eczema update # 3: I can actually wear my promise ring without my fingers being swollen 🙌🏾 My fingers aren’t too itchy or cracking anymore either. Cutting out dairy has definitely helped. My skin is healing nicely. .
