I took some time off from social media the last few months to regroup, collect my thoughts, and find purpose. The past half year I have learned so much about myself, what I am capable of, and the strength I have to endure all that I have in the past yet to push forward to where I am. I know that door to the past is shut and I look onwards to seeing the better version of me I have sculpted. When you focus on you, not on the negative things others have said about/to or done to you, you can truly hone in on what motivates you and unleash all the potential you have to be successful. By accepting that only your plans matter, listening to the tiny voice in your head that says that you can do it and you are of value, and loving yourself, you can accomplish more than you could ever imagine. So many times I felt dragged down so I kept looking up for signs or help, but all it took was believing in myself. If you need that little push, just take a tiny step up at a time. Before you know it you’ll be at the top looking down and actually see that it’s not so scary up here.
