It’s been a long road for my weight loss this year and I’ve had many many moments of zero motivation and lots of self doubt. But when I sit and look at it all laid out like this I am so proud of me. The year hasn’t been perfect but there has been a lot of progress. If I can continue on this route for the rest of the year I know I can build on this in 2018. No one said this was going to be an easy journey and I’m glad that it’s not!

My two heaviest lifts from this Sunday’s comp and my failed final lift for balance. An 82KG Snatch and a 104KG C+J as well as an attempt at 108KG that I really really should have gotten to get me to 190KG (can’t always kill it, next time). Huge thanks as always to @essexweightliftingclub for being the best place to train, let’s see what the final months of 2017 bring us.
