Who took 3 days off from the gym? This girl 🙋🏼 Felt good to rest my body and I was busy doing life! Here's a few from my leg workout today. 🔸Superset: Lunges with front leg elevated/Lunges with back leg elevated 🔸Kettle bell squats into RDL's 🔸Pulsing barbell RDL's. The rest of my workout:
🔸Single leg press 🔸Cable kicks backs 🔸Superset: Kettle bell swings/Jump squats 🔸Superset: Leg extensions/Seated hamstring curls. 3 sets on all. My reps varied depending on the weight I used! Tag a friend, try it out, and enjoy! 🔥

A few basics from back today. Superset: Wide grip rows/Underhand grip rows. 3 sets of 10. Single rows. I alternated 5 reps on each arm until I got to 15 on each arm. 3 sets. The rest of my workout:
🔸Wide grip pull downs 🔸Close grip pull downs 🔸Bent over single arm rows 🔸Back extensions
3 sets on 10 on all 💪🏻

Looking back at this photo that was a couple weeks ago and reliving the moment at the top of this trail 🏔 - it was my first few weeks in LA and overlooking the city just sent such chills up my spine, reflecting back on the constant vision I had in my head to move out here on my own after setting my route to medical school 👨‍⚕️ as my plan B and dive into my passion in fitness 💪🏽 and making it my plan A. Plan A is currently my dream, and I'm so happy I'm able to provide value to this world through what I'm most passionate about. Make that idea that you can't seem to shake your plan A- that's your passion, purpose, and life calling poking at you. It's the best decision you'll ever make (such a scary one) but what's even scarier is going through a life that you weren't meant to live ❤️🙏🏽

Today I focused on triceps and chest. Two of my least favorites to train! What's your least favorite to train? Regardless, I will be sore tomorrow 😅 {video is sped up!} Superset: Bench push-ups/Bench tricep dips. Superset: DB close press/DB skull crushers. Superset: Seated plate press/Plate overhead extensions. The rest of my workout:
🔸Tricep cable pushdowns using straight bar 🔸Incline DB chest press 🔸Tricep DB kickbacks 🔸Superset: Cable chest flys/Reverse grip single arm tricep pulldowns (using handle attachment)

Since my shoulder strength is slacking big time, my goal is to really focus on building these bad boys this season (along with my legs, of course😁)
1️⃣ Arnold press- starting position should look like you’re contracting when doing a bicep curl (in front of your chest) - make sure you don’t arch your back to compensate for the heavy weight. If you feel like you need to arch your back to lift the weight, go lighter!
2️⃣ absolutely no idea what the heck to call these but they burn and you can thank me later💅🏼💁🏽‍♀️
3️⃣bent-over rear delt lateral raise for back of zee shoulders. I find it easier to isolate these areas when I’m in a seated position.
4️⃣ incline chest press- one of my favorite exercises evahhh. Awesome for the upper& middle boobz and shoulders. 🔥

When you finally can learn to love who you are, you can start to see your inner and outer beauty. I love having an athletic body, but even more so I love to feel strong. I love to feel confident and I want that for you. As long as your trying to love yourself and you enjoy what you do don’t let anyone tell you what your doing is wrong ✨

We need to start changing the name of the game, and what I mean by that is let’s make the difference for ourselves by changing how we view others, accepting ourselves and making sure we know what our priorities are and aligning them with our goals.
Stop looking to others for self satisfaction and self love.
Stop comparing how you look to another person because the world needs you, this community needs you.
This post is just as much for me as it is for you.
Think about who and why you look up to someone? Is it for the quality they bring to your life? Or is it for an image that you deem acceptable or attractive?
Every one of us are all just normal people right?
We make time for the gym, we try our best to eat healthy most of the time, we screw up, we have doubts, we have amazing days, we have experiences, and the difference between the people who put their lives on instagram and the ones that don’t is that they choose to make those things public.
People say they follow others because they’re “relatable”, or “fitspo” but what does that mean to you?
I try to write captions with content that can help someone because I know an image of my abs where I am posed with some good lighting probably won’t be able to truly benefit anyone but my own self confidence, right?
So let’s change the name of the game! Follow people who add quality to your life! Who don’t bring you down but share something that motivates, helps or inspires you whether that is workouts, advice, motivation, Inspiration. That is what makes an impact, and that is what matters.

Winter fluff comin in 🔥🔥 my nutrition hasn’t been top notch in the last few months but am I going to beat myself up over it? No. Am I going to punish myself by exercising for 3 hours a day? No. Sometimes things come before the gym, before counting macros, before abs, and that is OKAY. This past semester has been grueling and I have worked my ass off and so my fitness took a back seat and that is OKAY. My top priority was school this semester and it paid off.

Don’t beat yourself up if you put studying in front of the gym sometimes, or if you eat something quick because you won’t be home for 6 hours.

Sometimes other things come first, and that’s okay.💖

45min back session today. Almost didn’t make it in today, told myself I wasn’t going to have time to get a good session in. But the voice inside of me said I could do better, I didn’t come this far to become unmotivated by the fact that I only have 45min to work back.
