GUYS! the other day I was talking to a lady I know about david and she told me that the heart's filthy lesson was her favorite bowie video/song and the thing is that she knows so little of him and she enjoys stuff from 1.outside? that's just brilliant :@ 😍
my music posts are usually about metal and dark shit since thats the angle i'm going for with this insta, however as always david bowie breaks the rules. its never too late to begin the adventure of his discography if you havent yet given his work some dedicated listening, it is all good. i have recently been enjoying 1. Outside, the 1995 concept album he released with brian eno. it has a few stranger elements of course but its surprisingly strong considering that 90s sound has generally dated quite poorly. the album was meant to reflect anxieties felt in the last five years of the millennium and that tone easily echoes today. just when you think youve heard all his best material, along comes this time capsule. it isnt heavy metal but it carries enough doom and gloom to be welcome here
