مرحبا يا رمضان، مرحبا شهر الصيام
Why use Marhaban beside Ahlan Wasahlan though has same meaning 'selamat datang'. Marhaban is greetings for waiting the special one, with peaceful, joyful, glory, and more more exciting than before. Then Ahlan Wasahlan is greeting which commonly used.
Marhaban is used for someone who we love, someone or something that really special with us. So, because Ramadhan is not only a common month, it's a special month, so we use Marhaban.
For the first, maybe we know thay fasting is a command by Allah. But, day by day we will realize that if we don't be asked to fast, we will do it as our daily life-style, because it has many benefit beside feels hungry and learn to be patient.
Beside Quraish Shihab who talks about Marhaban and Ahlan Wasahlan Ramadhan, Ahmad Rifa'i Rif'an talks too in this book. He refers to Quraish Shihab exactly.
