Something fishy... Homemade fish cakes for tea.
Couple of my main ingredients and the awesome benefits:
High in B vitamins and niacin great for boosting immune system and energy levels. It contains small protein molecules called bioactive peptides, that support your joint cartilage and control inflammation along with omega 3. It's called 'brain food' for a reason, high levels of DHA (turns into protectins when digested) can help prevent the excessive inflammation that causes dementia.
Rich in beta carotene (antioxidant), vitamin-C and B-complex vitamins, iron and phosphorus, making them awesome immune system boosters, with the addition of magnesium makes them good at curing internal and external inflammation. They have a powerful effect on congestion due to the high vit c and iron content (so when you've got a cold get these bad boys on your plate). Loaded with fibre and easy to digest. Beneficial for diabetics due to being very effective in regulating blood sugar levels by helping the proper secretion and function of insulin.
Tasty and plenty for tomorrow, they'll go down a treat with my 10 month old, packed full of nutrients and I know what's in them for my growing boy.
Anyone want my recipe?
