@Regrann from @woodnote_song - I have feelings about the @abybom__cosmetics ultra moisture black tea cream, and they're mixed. My testing schedule for this was longer then expected for a few reasons, which I'll get into in a bit. I used it for two weeks, stopped for two, started up again for another two, and then stopped. But first the things I liked!
The black tea cream contains its namesake black tea extract and black tea ferment. The cream itself is an amazingly smooth and rich texture, I love scooping it out and it spreads so easily. Seriously, it's really pleasant. It feels very nourishing on my skin, it absorbs well and leaves me with very soft skin. I would always wake up with a smooth and soft face after using this.
But there's the fragrance. The fragrance is so strong that I began to realize it was causing headaches. It's deep and cloying and doesn't fade. This cream also broke me out, which is why I took it out of my routine for a few weeks. I wanted to make sure it was that and not something else. It was on the second round of testing that I began experiencing headaches again and realized it was due to the fragrance.
So I'm sad that I have this amazingly rich cream that is great for dry skin, but I can't stand to use. Maybe if it was reformulated without that scent I would try it again, but for now it's goodbye little cream.
This was provided to me courtesy of the company for review, but opinions are my own.
