This is the ayahs I marked a while ago, and today when I occasionally opened the Quran this was the page that came out. .
I especially love the Ayah 127-128, which talks about patience and how Allah swt tells you even that patience comes from Him, and so you don’t need to break your heart for those who wrongs you. .
It makes me remind myself to just let go, not to cling to any harsh feelings and just simply release it to Allah swt. .
Also I think it is —I don’t know how to say in the best way— “nice” that Allah swt put ayah 126 before ayah 127-128. Yes, of course patience is better, as Allah swt says, but He gives a relief to those whom (like me) cannot simply have sabr, and suffer because of it. If Allah swt only told us “sabr” and nothing else, I would just simply give up on myself out of misery and despair. .
Sometime people can be very hurtful and harsh toward you, and when the attack comes from where you least expected, being patient is not the easiest thing to do. Especially as a revert who is still in the process of learning and simultaneously understanding what has happened within your heart. You aren’t ready to explain to others, let alone give them a satisfying answer. .
Knowing the Sabr is the goal I should achieve, inshallah, but that as long as I don’t over come the limits, it is still okay not to be able to be patient as the Prophet Muhammad saws, or that Allah swt will not punish me for not being able to be the best of the Muslimah from the day 1, is simply a mercy of Allah swt, subhanallah. .
This is just my perspective, and what studying this ayah in this specific day thought me. .
