#paper11planereview My Beauty Diary 2-Step Moisturizing & Repairing Cleansing Pack
This is my first time trying a 2-step mask pack. I love My Beauty Diary masks and I suppose this is the first Taiwanese mask that most of us knew about and used. And I do love their packaging, they are so cute and adorable as always 🤗
Step 1 - Algae Moisturizing Mud Mask:
The scent of the mud mask is very refreshing, unlike most of the mud mask that smell so strong like mud/dirt, this one smells like ocean! The mud is in light grey (very light) color and the texture is somehow watery in which it's easy to apply. It didn't sting me when applied (I tried few mud and clay masks, they did caused a stingy feeling in my face) and it didn't dry out after I applied it for 15 minutes, which made it easy to wash off too.
Claims vs thoughts:
Pores cleansing & oil balancing 👉🏻After wash off, my skin felt so smooth and soft, pores were getting smaller and face was firmer.
Step 2 - Glacier Water Soothing Repair Mask:
It has a mild, pleasant scent upon opening, it doesn't smell like water but it's still refreshing (I'm running out of words to explain, somebody help pls). The mask sheet is thin and soft, it fit me well just that the part between nose and mouth is big to me, where it almost covers my upper lip 😅The essence is clear and watery, it has quite some amount left in the pack.
Claims vs thoughts:
Hydrating, soothing & repairing 👉🏻I took it off after 20 minutes and my skin felt hydrated. The essence absorbed fast and not sticky.
However, my face was getting a bit greasy and oily throughout the day. Not sure if it's because of double-masking (mud mask & sheet mask) that in turns too 'nutritious' to my skin or the mask pack itself. I'm going to try this again separately as mud mask and sheet mask alone in near future to see if the end result is the same or not.
