Do you go to bed early while traveling or do you stay out late? πŸ™‚
β €
I prefer a mix, especially when we go up early to take photos at sunrise. I need my beauty sleep πŸ™ƒ but I also like to stay out late occasionally and get a different vibe of the places we visit!

Where’s your next destination? πŸ˜€

Tomorrow, we are going to Maui, and I’m so excited to be exploring the island!

Also known as memory lane, and a place where you can get an authentic Izakaya experience in Shinjuku. In these alleys you will find several bars/small restaurants serving Japanese Beer as well as yakitori, yakiniku and lots of different types of food on skewers.
β €
It has also become a famous spot for photographers due to the iconic vibes and alleys.

Let your weird light shine bright so that the other weirdos know where to find you πŸ™ƒπŸŒ„

Are you an early bird or do you like late mornings?

This was one of my early mornings in Kyoto with @christineabroad πŸ™‚ have you missed these photos from us?

Good morning from @ritzcarlton.osaka - One of our absolute favorite hotels πŸ™‚ We have arrived in Hawaii now, but we finished our 19 days traveling around Japan at this lovely hotel.

If you have some Hawaii tips, let me know in the comments. We will be traveling to Maui and Kauai after Oahu πŸ˜€

I first photographed this place almost 3 years ago. Since then we have been back to Japan twice and now I visited this place again.

It’s amazing how crowded this place has become due to its popularity on Instagram and being a filmning location for the movie Memoirs of a Geisha.
β €
3 years ago we came at sunrise and had this place all to ourselves, and it was amazing. This time, we arrived at sunrise as well, but it was already crowded.

I still recommend people to go here though, its incredible, but you will probably have to wait a while to get a photo without other people in it.

Did you know that Tokyo is the most populated city in the world?
β €β €β €β €
Something you can definitely notice in areas such as Shibuya or Shinjuku, or during rush hour in the Metro/trains.
β €β €β €β €
However, it’s still so easy to find peaceful spots and areas with a small town feel and without lots of other people. Even in areas such as Shinjuku and Shibuya, you can Walk 2-3 blocks from the action, and find a conpletely peaceful street.

Can you give this deer a name? πŸ˜€πŸ¦Œ

Nara is an easy day trip away from Kyoto or Osaka and highly recommended πŸ™‚ the city full of wild deer walking around + there are lots of cool temples!
β €
If you visit, please remember to be mindful and respect these beautiful animals. Treat them as your friends, but also remember that they are wild.

Todaiji Temple in Nara πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ also home to this giant buddha statue from the 8th century! πŸ™‚

1 december today and 24 days to Christmas (for Swedes) and 25 for US/UK and so on, I guess most countries celebrate the 25th December.
β €
I’m quite excited about Christmas this year as we will experience New York Christmas vibes for the first time! It looks so magical in movies, so hopefully its awesome in real life too!

What about you? πŸ˜€
