OK, I have tried for the last 2 days to 100% food optimise and I haven't been completely successful. I am not ashamed to admit this.
EVERYBODY struggles at times. We all joined @slimmingworld and set out on our own personal journey to lose weight. Every single member has different goals, different amounts of weight to lose and will face different bumps in their road. But one thing we ALL have in common is the desire/need to lose weight. Ultimately that is what led us to this point in the first instance.
I know I will ALWAYS have a 'problem' with food. I eat when I'm stressed, anxious, happy and sad. I use food to control my emotions. It's not healthy and it's something I face and deal with on a daily basis. Even now. Even after losing over 8 and a half stone. Even after being a target member for a year. Even after being crowned WOTY.
What I also know is Food Optimising and Image Therapy together WORK. The support from my consultant and fellow members along with my family and friends is what made me successful in losing weight in the first place.
So, with that in mind I am making a plan. I am putting the things in place that I know will work for me. I am taking one day at a time. Tomorrow will be a successful day. I will enjoy lots of delicious food and I won't feel hungry at all. I will flex my will power when I need to and I will photograph and post every single thing that passes my lips. At the end of the day I will go to bed feeling amazing. I won't have lost weight but I will have conquered the first and hardest day.
Don't ever feel like you're the only one struggling. You're never alone. We ALL face hurdles, sometimes we fly over them and sometimes we don't. Its life.
All we need to do is food optimise, never give up. Just keep on keeping on... With a little inspiration, motivation and determination ANYTHING is possible 💖
