The sun sets over the Yarra Valley in Yarra Glen, around 45km north-east of Melbourne.

Wind turbines at the Waurba Wind Farm cast a striking feature above the undulating landscape, around 30km north-west of Ballarat.

Providing sufficient power for up to 143,000 homes, the wind farm was the largest in Australia upon its completion in 2009.

Radio masts silently emit countless volumes of voice and data from atop Mt. Anakie, around 30 km north-west of Geelong, Victoria.

After waiting a few hours for the moon to set during a recent trip to Anakie, just north of Geelong, I was rewarded with this magnificent view of the Milky Way core.

Another shot taken with my new Irix 15mm f/2.4; this lens has opened up an amazing world of photo opportunities!

The ebbs and flows of the Friday peak as Melbourne makes its way home at the end of the week.

MY80 Silver Skies Apartments

Taken on one of the last warm, clear nights of autumn a couple of years ago, this now-complete building stands at 55 storeys and is home to 481 residential apartments as well as a rooftop sky lounge and terrace, a luxurious pool, spa and cinema.

For every shot of the underside of the Bolte in Melbourne, there’s this shot of the Harbour Bridge in Sydney; they both make for very interesting subjects!
