The Subaru of New England tech team has been hard at work modifying this BRZ, just in time for Wicked Big Meet this weekend! From a set of upgraded wheels and tires to a new supercharger system and everything in between, this BRZ is finally ready to be seen and heard.
Here are just a few of the upgrades!
🚗Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger system, designed exclusively for the BRZ 2.0 Liter engine.
🚗3” exhaust from the catalytic converter and back. A new high flow catalytic converter will flow exhaust gases more efficiently, allowing for higher volume of flow while removing harmful emissions.
🚗PERRIN lightweight alternator and water pump pulleys will help reduce engine power loss, thanks to less rotating mass, resulting in less drag on the engine.
🚗PERRIN engine mounts are stiffer than factory, and PERRIN transmission mounts will help to reduce drivetrain movement.
🚗PERRIN silicone radiator hoses give a great look under the hood while increasing cooling efficiency.
🚗APEXi N1 EXV Coilover System provides adjustable height to improve handling.
🚗Volk Racing CE28SL wheels with Pirelli P Zero AS+ 255/35R18 tires. Larger, wider tires will be able to handle the increased power better and transfer it to the ground.
🚗Cusco strut tower in rear of vehicle, Password JDM diagonal strut tower traces, and a Perrin steering rack lockdown.
🚗GrimSpeed master cylinder brace will give positive braking feel and will help to reduce firewall flex.
🚗Carbon fiber fuse box cover, STI heater switch trim, under hood dress up kit, carbon fiber radiator cooling plate, carbon fiber engine bay covers, and a billet aluminum oil fill cap will add to the appearance.
The 2.0 supercharged 4-cylinder engine now produces 247 Horsepower at 7,400 RPM, and 184 lb-ft Torque at 5,370 RPM. We’ll be at Wicked Big Meet with our new BRZ! Be sure to come check it out in person. Thank you to the Subaru of New England tech team for all of their hard work!
