Keeping track of your progress is huge for motivation and can spur on even more commitment to your end goal... Years back, when I first began lifting, I became fixated on measurements and what the the scales would read looking for the next cm/kg of gain. 
These days, it's a lot less objective! The mirror, occasional scale check, along with several weeks or months of focused training and commitment to eating right is enough to show me whether I'm heading in the right direction or not.👌🏼💪🏼

Amazing squat day! Worked up to a top set of 485lbs/220kg for 6 reps. then back down with 460lbs/210kg for sets of 6. Squat have been on a roll lately! Probably the easiest this weight has EVER felt.
Current body weight is at 200lbs/90kg @JoeyFlexx7 we got more in store 🔝🔝🔑🔑
