Now in stock & available to the public - "Frost Dragonling" collectible enamel pins - worldwide shipping - $12.99 at my Strangeling website (link in profile, Click Shop - Collectible Enamel Pins) - these turned out SO CUTE! Metal & enamel pins, two posts with locking pinbacks, absolutely darling. Only $12.99 - you can see all my pins so far at my Strangeling page above =) Alternately, if you are part of the Pin Collector Tier at Patreon you'll automatically receive this cutie (along with the Patreon-only "The Scarecrow," custom lanyards, giveaways for rare/exclusive pins and many other pins throughout the year) details on my Patreon page (just search JASMINE PATREON and you'll find it)!

The very last #25/25 "Ninja Dragonlings" Lt. Ed. Canvas giclee is up for auction up at eBay (seller ID: Strangeling or search item 401476408447 ) - we are now sold out of them (those went fast!) . We do still have open edition glossy paper prints signed on the back by me from $13.99 and now also the open edition canvases for $125 up at my Strangeling website (link in profile and then search NINJA) .
Now that it's 2018 we've gone through all our 2017 editions records and it looks like we are nearly sold out of a TON of our Limited Editions.
Once we get close to running low, I'll do my best in the next few months to keep you all informed. The good news is that we always save the #25 (or the #5, for Masterpiece Editions) last Lt. Ed. Canvases and put them up for auction, so if you ever miss out you always get a week where you can get in a last chance bid. We have over a hundred images that are now down to five or less left in their editions, so if you have a favourite you might want to pop up to Strangeling.com before they get sold out.
Again - one of my New Year's Resolutions (as far as work goes, lol) is to try to keep everybody informed once an edition becomes "Endangered" (ie, very few left), but sometimes when we have a sale or when it gets very busy (this Christmas was NUTS) it's easy for them to sell out with little notice. I will keep you posted best I can! XO Jasmine

"Kirin and Bakeneko" 9x12" Original Acrylic Painting $3200 at the Corey Helford Gallery, prints from $9.99 available worldwide at my Strangeling website (link in profile!) The original painting of “Kirin and Bakeneko” debuted this weekend and is currently hanging at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles – contact Sherri if you are interested – sherri@coreyhelfordgallery.com or call (310) 287-2340 . She’s an original acrylic painting on a 9×12″ panel, is beautifully framed (exterior measurement approximately 18×22″) and is priced at $3200. The Corey Helford Gallery is located in Downtown Los Angeles, they are happy to ship worldwide, or you can drop by in person - they may also be able to work with you on payment installment programs.

This piece is for a group show at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles called “EAST/WEST” curated by Caro. The gallery works with a number of Asian artists as well as American artists, and this show is specifically meant to mix Eastern/Western traditions from various different perspectives. As many of you may know, I travel to Asia fairly frequently. I have some family who have originally come from Japan and we enjoy visiting there whenever we can. (Also I really dig Tokyo DisneySea, hehe, and always like a good excuse to go there!) Japan has such an exciting number of mythological animals – one of which is the Kirin (sort of dragony-unicorny-giraffe). I’ve included a Kirin in my painting here, wrapped around a shamisen (traditional Japanese instrument). My nephew is named “Fox Kirin” – so as kind of a familial nod, I am painting an Inari fox shrine in the background (it’s actually a specific shrine I have visited on multiple occasions.) Another delightful mythical beast in Japanese folklore is the Bakeneko (monster cat, similar to a Nekomata or other Yokai – ish kitties!). For the most part, they tend to look like regular cats, but if you look closely they have two tails (or a forked tail, depending on who you ask, and depending on whether they’re being lumped in together wtih Nekomata). Japan is full of cats, mostly in my own experience I see tailless or bob-tailed cats there, I haven’t seen a two-tailed one yet

This is a SUPER neat auction - eBay item: 401476456788 (or search seller ID strangeling) - my actual original 8x10" acrylic painting (the concept art piece I did to design the doll) AND you also get one of the autographed Alice vinyls (signed by me!) - I'm happy to ship worldwide! Loads more pics & details are up at the auction. The original painting is acrylic on masonite panel, suitable for framing, and yes you get one of the dolls too =) Don't have the budget for the original painting or just want the dolls? My Strangeling Vinyl dolls are available worldwide at my Strangeling website - link in profile.

I am back at Epcot tonight for a personal appearance at the WonderGround Gallery tent, and so is URSULA! Yes, my Ursula prints have just been released by Disney - yay! I'll be there at the WonderGround tent tonight (Monday) from 5-7pm for autographs, etc. (the WonderGround Gallery is over by the Morocco/France Pavilions). They'll have an assortment of my other Disney artwork there too. A short walk away (by Canada) is the Pop Gallery tent where you can find a ton of my non-Disney artwork (my personal work - both tents have completely different stuff!) - I'm happy to autograph everything.

Now that Ursula has debuted at Disney they should also have her available shortly WORLDWIDE via email & telephone ordering from Disney Parks Merchandise, probably this week, I will make a post here at Facebook with all those details shortly (I've seen them popping up ALREADY on eBay too, lol, just search Jasmine Becket-Griffith Ursula, might be pricier though up there). The original "Ursula" acrylic painting has already been sold, but Disney has released the prints, canvas giclees, postcards, etc. =) =) I'll be making several more personal appearances at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts over the next many weeks, details are on my Events Page on Facebook or alternately the Events Calendar up at my Strangeling website.

XO

Jasmine

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts starts today - I'll be there in person tomorrow, Monday, and many other dates in the upcoming weeks - two Festival Tents have my work (my artwork will be there every day, even when I'm not there in person) - the Pop Gallery Tent is over by the Canada Pavilion and has my personal artwork (and my new Strangeling Vinyl "Alice in the Starry Night" dolls, books & decks, coloring books & more), and the WonderGround Gallery Tent is over by the Morocco / France Pavilions and that is where you will find my Disney Character artwork!
Again, I'll be there seven different dates (check my Events Calendar on my Strangeling website, link in profile) in person, some at one tent some at the other, you can get different stuff at either tent and I'm happy to autograph anything! Tomorrow I'll be at the Pop Gallery tent from 5-7pm (Saturday) and this Monday I'll be at the WonderGround Gallery tent from 5-7pm too.

And yes - the Pop Gallery tent will have my Strangeling Vinyl Alice dolls (these ones here)! If you can't come in person, you can always order one worldwide online at my Strangeling website, link is in my profile) =)

More work on "The Moon" - getting closer to being finished! This is my painting for the 78 Tarot "Mythical" Deck later this year . Seventy-eight different artists are participating, each illustrating a card, and my assignment was for "The Moon." I'm really digging the lighting in this one, with the primary lightsource behind the figure instead of in front of her - makes it really seem like the moon is glowing! If you are a fan of the past centuries' art nouveau movement, you will recognize the primary figure as being a riff on Alphonse Mucha's "Moon and Stars" series. Being a "Mythic" deck, each card is supposed to incorporate well-known gods/goddesses/mythological figures - and since I have The Moon I want to evoke Luna/Selene in my piece.
We are also supposed to reference traditional tarot imagery so that our cards are recognizable to readers, and I'm incorporating a couple of wolves/dogs and the two pillars (as well as the crawdad, lol) from the Rider-Waite deck, and as a nod to the early Flemish Tarot I'm giving the female figure a distaff (as in spinning wool) in her hand.
As far as the original painting goes - I'm selling this one myself, it's not for a gallery or convention, it is a full sized 16"x12" panel, original acrylics of course, and I have a satin/matte finished solid wood black ornate frame I'm going to put her in, fitting with the "nighttime" and "antique" feel to this piece. She will be priced at $5400. If anybody is interested in the original painting, please email me directly at JasmineToad@aol.com with the subject line : "The Moon" ORIGINAL PAINTING
We'll have prints and canvases eventually up at my Strangeling website (link in profile), and the 78 Tarot Mythical deck will go into full swing at some point later this year (I'll keep you posted, usually they do a kickstarter for their decks).

Our Strangeling Sale Print of the Week is "Microcosm: Triceratops" - only $9.99 up at my Strangeling website (link in profile) - we ship worldwide! Glossy paper prints are signed on the back by me, we have larger sizes for $19.99 too, and the open edition canvas giclees (12x16", with a signed COA, ready-to-hang) are only $90. I love this one!

Here's what I've been up to this week! "The Moon" - it will be my painting for the 78 Tarot "Mythic" Deck later this year. Seventy-eight different artists are participating, each illustrating a card, and my assignment was for "The Moon." If you are a fan of the past centuries' art nouveau movement, you will recognize the primary figure as being a riff on Alphonse Mucha's "Moon and Stars" series. Obviously I work in a very different medium, hehe, but I want to specifically reference that imagery in this painting.
I think I've got all my illustrative duties covered now, hehe!

I'm very excited at the unusual lighting source in this piece, with Luna/Selene being somewhat backlit with the beautiful crescent moon, usually the primary figures in my typical compositions are lit from the front or from above, so this is kind of fun =) As far as the original painting goes - I'm selling this one myself, it's not for a gallery or convention, it is a full sized 16"x12" panel, original acrylics of course, and I have a satin/matte finished solid wood black ornate frame I'm going to put her in, fitting with the "nighttime" and "antique" feel to this piece. Inquiries will be indexed as they are received based on the timestamp on the emails, I won't be showing this to the public until at least tomorrow or so. I'll be updating with additional work-in-progress photos throughout the week.

We'll have prints and canvases eventually up at my Strangeling website (Link in profile)!

“Alice’s Advice ” 4x6" original acrylic painting $1300 SOLD, prints & canvases from $9.99 are at my Strangeling website (link in profile) she is just a small illustration for one of the cards in my upcoming Alice in Wonderland Oracle Deck, but so many of my followers asked me to offer prints of her, so I’ve up-sized her a bit to make a lovely full sized print of her – turned out super cute! “Alice’s Advice” is the illustration for the “Follow Your Own Good Advice” card in the deck. Lucy Cavendish is the author, Blue Angel / Llewellyn the publishers/distributor and the deck should be out in 2018.

There is a part of the original Alice book where it mentions that Alice “generally gave herself very good advice, (though she very seldom followed it), and sometimes she scolded herself so severely as to bring tears into her eyes.” Since Oracle Cards tend to be about introspection, there is a card inspired by this line in the book that is titled “Follow Your Own Good Advice.” And she’s got a teacup, ’cause you can’t give or receive advice without some tea handy.
The original painting has already been SOLD via Patreon, but we do have prints & canvases available, and of course she’ll appear in my upcoming Alice in Wonderland Oracle Deck.

We have 8x10" glossy paper prints signed on the back by me on sale for $9.99, and limited edition canvas giclee prints hand embellished by me in acrylic paints, ready-to-hang, signed & numbered out of only 25 made - also 8x10" - $100 each. We are always happy to ship worldwide!
The #1 of the limited edition canvases, as always, is up for auction on eBay item # 401472524190
Enjoy!

March 2019 - I'm traveling in Africa leading an artist workshop / safari - https://www.touricatours.com/art-safari-with-jasmine-becket-griffith.html and got some GOOD news (for some of us at least) today - since the South African Rand is currently at a favourable exchange rate with dollars, pounds, etc. the price has jumped down by a thousand dollars and also Tourica is able to offer FREE international flights included with that! Email matt@touricatours.com if you are interested in locking in this rate - we still have available spots for friends/students/fellow travelers (you don't have to be an artist, you can just bring your coloring books, lol) - it should be an amazing trip. Matt is coming with me this time too =) Again, just email matt@touricatours.com if you are interested at all and want to get your name in! (I recommend doing so soon, so you can get the included airfare and take advantage of the favourable currency exchange rate now!). XO Jasmine

Strangeling Vinyl has LAUNCHED here worldwide at my Strangeling website (link in profile) with my first installment "Alice in the Starry Night" - you can order your own little Alice doll now, we'll be mailing them out a bit later this January (in about 1 or 2 weeks!). These are already selling fast since I put the pre-order up at Patreon, so grab one now they are available to the public. "Alice in the Starry Night" is the first of what will (hopefully) be a collection of Strangeling Vinyl toys/dolls, assuming this first little beauty does well, I will then be designing more characters - all around the same size/shape so they can play together (or be displayed together ;)) nicely. They also come in a neat box for those of you who like keeping collector toys in boxes =) On my website they are $34.99 (if you are in a country with a different currency, don't worry - your bank or credit/debit card or paypal or whatever will automatically convert it, you can check at xe.com to see updated currency exchange rates, they fluctuate by the minute). Shipping is actual cost based on your postal/zip code and is calculated during checkout as well (add it to your shopping cart, put your address in, and it will tell you before you have to buy anything). We will also have them at the Pop Gallery at Disney Springs and YES they'll be at the Pop Gallery tent at the upcoming Epcot International Festival of the Arts throughout January/February if you'd rather buy yours in person (it'll be $39.99 I think at Disney Springs/Pop Gallery/Epcot, but hey - no shipping, lol, so it will even out).
