For one I am happy where I am in my life. I almost sinked into a black hole this year by watching a recycled media diet of money making and fame chasing. I decided to be an artist at the year of 5 unconsciously. I picked up a pencil to draw a teddy bear I had and from then on I was on a path to my current situation. Most Africans by the ago 10 had their lives decided for them so their parents would have a trophy to show off in the name of wealth. I feel sorry for anyone forced into an occupation to please society values.
Last time I checked happiness has no relation to stacks of paper but I could be wrong.
I grew up seeing my mom struggling to get our family to this point and honestly it made me realize I had to do the same in my own rights without being a drone. Stop looking into the plate next to you, be content with what you have, if you want more then work hard for it but don't get carried away trying to find shortcuts. Greed and envy are deadly traits. I read somewhere that worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength. So I will try harder to learn do my part and ignore that rest. I will be everything I have learned not anything I am told to be. Sometimes to hold on to something new you must let go of something old.
