$914 cup of coffee(!), barrel aged for 22 years at The Munch in Osaka. You can check out our new episode on YT (link in bio) but this was by far the weirdest place Worth It has ever taken me. First off, the owner drinks 8 cups of coffee so he only sleeps ~4 hours a night. When we got there, we watched him prepare a pour-over that took 1.5 hours to make. And when we paid the bill... he only took cash.
So.. was it worth it? I mean, maybe to someone else lol?.. But I do appreciate his efforts to push the boundaries of culinary exploration. Sure, the end product was not 914 times tastier then a $1 cup of coffee. But it was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. #BuzzFeedWorthIt

Amazed that every single thing I ate in Japan was delicious. $1 rice balls, $13 omurice, $79 ramen, $900 coffee(!)... I really appreciated how much Japanese chefs cared about being excellent in their craft. Giving their all no matter the task and keeping restaurants small to maintain quality control.
