Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all. It's been quiet here since a few months and for good reasons. This profile was never meant to be a journal. It was supposed to be about using my experience to uplift anyone who would want to see it. I noticed I started using this profile from time to time like a diary. The details don't matter. Think bigger. Work on the mechanics instead of micromanaging. This profile made it look like my life solely revolves around Cystic Fibrosis. Although it takes up a dominant part of my days, that's not the truth. Don't be a tagline. CF shouldn't be a competition about who goes through the worst shit. It should motivate you to take care of your health and live your life to the fullest. So go out and live it.
HEY MOTHERFUCKER! Now that I have your attention. If you want to improve, change your habits. Still not feeling 💯 but I'm forcing myself to get back on the bike. Don't wait till New-year to chase your goals. Take action 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
It's with great sadness that I found out my fellow CF friend Andrew past away.
I will forever admire his warrior spirit. His dark humor was a way to stick the finger to the disease that took so much from him but he never complained.
He passed away waiting for lungs that never came. Please register yourself as a donor. Talk about organ donation with your family and express your wishes.
