Love this. Now a weekly thing. Used to happen maybe once a year back in my early days covering the tour. (Oh shit, I've been around long enough to say, remember those good old or really awful days when grown men were meaner than mean girls and you cried in the bathroom almost every week...Haha) *****
Repost from @justinthomas34 Something I love about our sport.. anytime you can watch one of your boys win, you do!! Pumped for @rickiefowler, was cool being there for the last putt. Lets see how many wins we can get this season in the #sb2k16 crew!! #5andcounting #boomtower

Congrats @rickiefowler! πŸ₯‚ Cheers! 🍾 Walked into interview room and his agent handed me a glass of champagne. Clearly, there's a conspiracy to get the media wasted and write our stories blacked out. (Jhonny Vegas sent a couple huge coolers of beer to media center after he aced 15 earlier today). #hondaclassic

2015. The staged scene on Sunday at Doral of Trump presenting Rory with his 3-iron after his epic club throw into drink during second round. Trump hired a scuba driver to fish it out and then went all reality show with this thing on the range (he asked for club back from Rory later even though Rory had said he didn't really need the club in a presser , haha)

Another to add to my collection. πŸ™πŸ‘β€οΈ #blessed

#tbt October 2013 to that ribbon-cutting ceremony at Ferry Point involving unlikely partnership of Mayor Bloomberg, Donald Trump and Jack Nicklaus. I wrote a story first reported for the Wall Street Journal on it beforehand (which I was really proud of because it made the front page of the "Greater NY" section and wasn't considered a sports story). I remember Trump praising the story on Twitter and calling me a great reporter in person. I kinda didn't know how I felt about that at the time, but had time constraints and couldn't reach Bloomberg's office for comment and had difficulty getting in touch with the right people from the City (finally got call back after I had filed story, so went back and worked it in). Felt bad I didn't give them enough credit, but simply reported facts from interviews with two of 3 main parties involved! Now, I obviously am aware it was actually an insult to be called a "great reporter" etc. and what a terrible story that was and clearly I'm an enemy of the state! The kicker to the story is still my all-time favorite. (If you can read through the lines...)πŸ€£βœŒοΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Rare sighting!! πŸ˜‚β›³οΈπŸ˜‚β›³οΈWhen these two are at a tourney, it basically makes my day/week! ❀️❀️❀️these ladies @littlerees @siobhanhow!!! @pumagolf #hondaclassic #pganational #mahgirls

#tbt 2012 that time at Riviera when Phil Michelson drained an incredible 40-foot putt for birdie on the 72nd hole to get into 3-way playoff. And my jaw literally dropped. (πŸ“· @kyleauclair)

Don't mind me, just a hot mess πŸ”₯πŸ’₯πŸ™ƒπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈon zero sleep 😴 trying to remember how to play ⛳️ or swing the club 5% as well as I used to. Waaaaaah. πŸŒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺπŸ™„

Still can't get over the beaches, mountains, culture, throwback/old school everything, architecture etc. I saw in Muscat. Need to go back and spend time in the mountains and desert! πŸ™πŸ‡΄πŸ‡²β˜€οΈβ›°πŸπŸ« (ps please spare me the lectures and further "manaplaining" -- which actually makes you more of a judgmental, short-sighted hypocrite than anyone else -- on any of these countries human rights' issues/treatment of women/workers. I didn't go there to judge and proclaim western society and democracy as superior (because what right do I have? Or any westerner?), but to have an educational and cultural experience and understand the Emirati and the Omani etc. We all have our flaws --need I begin with the Western world's very long list of crimes to humanity, mistakes of the past, deaths resulting in thousands of innocent civilians? We still have work on that front. Notice how all your clothes and many of the things you buy from Target are from Asia? Also: sweatshops still exist in America! I've seen them in NYC when I worked in the fashion biz.
I'm Chinese-American and many of my ancestors who weren't able to flee Communist China when Mao rose to power in 1949 ended up dying of starvation during the horrors of the cultural revolution. (Mao killed more people than Stalin and Hitler combined.) My parents and grandparents experienced so much terror and pain that they could not even repeat most these memories because the very thought of them were all too terrifying to relive and rehash. China still commits awful human rights crimes, disregard for the environment, lack of freedom of the press etc. I mean, the list goes on, and while these horrify me, I am still proud of China's rich history and heritage pre-Mao. No need to wallow in self-loathing. No culture and society is perfect. Trust me, sexism and racism are alive and well in the western world today! Ok, that's all. Tired of all the mansplaining...when really, the more we learn about other cultures, the better equipped we are to work together and perhaps use soft power to influence change/progress in human rights.
