Here's some leg building tips**Watch the whole video to understand what I'm talking about😘You have to push yourself to see results no one can do it for you. I've had to work really really hard for my lower body. My upper body adapts & progresses really quickly compared to my legs so I work extra hard on #legdays -here you can see me performing a really heavy quad extension superset with multiple drop sets pausing with the lighter weights, really taxing my muscles as much as possible. As well as on my barbel squats, I'll work my way up by 5-10 lbs each set & drop set to sandbag squats, I'll go until I feel like I can't go anymore. I've seen huge strength improvements by adding paused drop sets. I'm able to go a little heavier each time I challenge myself on the heavy part😍🙌🏼 who else does drop sets or paused reps? If you have a hard time gaining strength or size in your lower body give this a try! You can do drop/pause reps with any exercise! Get to work & make it burn 😤😅🔥

I've seen my own reflection just about everyday for my whole life.. there's been times I hate what I see & times I'm proud of my progress, but regardless.. I always see areas I can improve. You will always be your hardest critique!! but the most important thing to do -is learn to embrace the process, find balance between life & the gym. Shoulders are one of my favorite muscle groups to lift! I used to be all about going as heavy as I could & keeping up with the guys because thats how I saw change in my body when I first started out -BUT that doesn't mean I can't switch things up.. I'm listing to my body🗝👉🏼Recently after going through so many set backs with my Crohn's disease flaring, I've been focusing on going a-lot lighter to give my body a bit of a break from the usual heavy lifting; slower, way more controlled, time under tension. I get just as sore & still am able to maintain my physique. I'm excited to see what happens & how my body progresses with this switch up of going lighter & slower. With this being said, Listen to your body. If your struggling though illness or disease but still want to workout I recommend trying lighter/slower movements💋🙌🏼
The circuit:
3-4 sets go lighter & slooooowwwww👇🏼
1.overhead press (without back support engages the core)
2.incline rear delts (using bench like this takes out momentum for better isolation)
3.behind the neck lat pull (to squeeze & develop lower/mid traps & rear delts)
4.cable squats to get some ExtraCredit for the glutes😋

Stretching benefits for your body;
Helps improve flexibility (increases your range of motion) Assists in correct posture by lengthening tight muscles that pull areas of the body away from their intended position (because of so much time at our computers or in the gym, many of us have tight chest muscles, which pulls the shoulders and head forward, leaving us with a hunched shoulder look) Potential to decrease injury by preparing muscles for work before activity increases blood and nutrient supply to muscles, possibly reducing muscle tension & soreness.

Making excuses burns ZERO calories.. I was exhausted today & dealing with minor Crohn's symptoms.. I didn't feel like going to the gym.. but I went anyway & feel so much better! I've lost some booty weight/gains with this Crohn's flare the past month so I'm working to make the #gains back! I've had to work Really hard for my legs & can't lose that progress -Going slow & really getting that squeeze!
-I used these 2 as my last set of #legday to exhaust my #booty & #hamstrings👌🏼🔥Try this superset the next time you focus on hamstrings & let me know how you like it👇🏼3-4 sets of 15-20 reps ea.
1.Cable pull throughs
2:Frog kicks with ball *squeeze the ball with your heels at the top!

#motivation 😤 When I started working out I NEVER imagined any of this. I look down & see abs, booty, I see muscle.. I see a body I've created, I see hard work.. I see discipline, sacrifice.. I see the pain that fueled me in the past & passion that pushes me forward. A lot of you ask.. "what motivates you" There are many things that motivate me but one of my biggest motivators is ME- my past. I motivate myself everyday. When I want to give up, I think of my past & where I came from. Without discipline & hard work I wouldn't be where I am today. Keeping consistency & making healthy habits sticking to them Day in & day out. It goes further than making better choices physically. If I stop.. I'll lose what I've created & alter the path I've carved. That is enough motivation for me💯 #selfmade #stillgrinding
