2010 #beidou #yancha in a 60ml #factory1 #hongni #shuiping from the late 1960s. #gongfucha

1980s single region #gushu. Very sweet tea, with strong cooling effect in the throat all the way to the stomach. The cooling comes together with warming, and the huigan lasts long. Based on the texture and flavor profile, I'd say it's from the menghai area, probably not yiwu but more like hekai or pasha. This tea went on forever and got me pretty tea drunk... #gongfucha #yixing #factory1

Revisiting this 2012 Deng shihai fuluyuancha. It was very smoky when I got it about a year ago. The smokyness is now much less noticeable, and the tea is more pleasant. It feels very comfortable, but it is not very powerful in terms of huigan. I wonder how it will age. I am drinking alone tonight so I am pouring directly in a guinomi that holds all the content of the gaiwan. I like how the slightly larger cups can be more artistic. But for yancha and dancongs small thin porcelain cups are hard to beat.

I have been airing out this aged traditional #tieguanyin for a few months. It is much better now, more rounded and the sourness is almost gone. Using an early #70s #factory1 #yixing and a Brian Croney cup.

Starting the day with some #lishan. This is one of the best examples of lishan I have had, the "high mountain air" taste and sweetness are very pronounced, and at the same time it has quite some kick and thickness, but without being grassy and with no spinach taste (it is not the kick of overbrewed #gaoshan ). It is amazing how much the leaves expand. Using a thin walled early to mid #70s #hongni #shuiping with very fine clay and a Taiwanese #celadon cup.

I opened up a bag of 2010 beidou. Haven't had this tea in about 2 years. It was nice to go back to its familiar taste. #yancha #factory1 #hongni #yixing #gongfucha
