As part of St. Dominic High School's STEM Research Program, Juniors in the Molecular and Genomic Research Class went through DNA barcoding module protocols learned through the school's partnership with the DNA Learning Center (DNALC) at Cold Spring Harbor. Students collected samples, isolated the DNA, analyzed the results to determine if their hypothesis was supported, then presented their research findings via PowerPoint presentations.

#GIVINGTUESDAY Better to Give Than Receive.

#GIVINGTUESDAY One Journey. One Day of Giving.

It’s #GIVINGTUESDAY!! Please support St. Dominic today. All gifts will be matched dollar for dollar!!

On Saturday, November 25th, St. Dominic hosted a 6-way scrimmage with Huntington, Hicksville, Cold Spring Harbor, Farmingdale, and Ursuline Academy. As we enter the holiday and winter seasons, the teams donated blankets and jackets in an effort to raise awareness for the homeless populations in New York City and Nassau County. The items collected on Saturday will be donated to the St. Dominic Parish Outreach and Midnight Run Organization. The St. Dominic Girls Basketball program would like to thank all who donated for their generosity and willingness to give to those in need.
