I’m just heart broken over this unimaginable evil tradedy that happened to our neighboring city Parkland, FL. at the M.Stoneman Douglas High School. I currently live in Coral Springs which is a few miles away from Parkland. I spent my last 2 years in high school at Coral Springs Charter HS, which had ALOT of kids from Parkland and transfers of Stoneman Douglas HS students that spent there latter years at Charter. We all shared friends from each other’s schools. I always loved going to peaceful Parkland, which is more of the suburbs than Coral Springs. I love the area so much that I even contemplate on eventually owning a home in that neighborhood! Coral Springs surrounds the south west sides of Parkland. When I was old enough to live on my own, I knew I wanted to move to Coral Springs. Been living in Springs for the past 10 years now. And now I’m married and exploring more of this area as a married couple. Great place to raise a future family. These 2 neighborhoods have such low crime rate, I really feel safe in our neighborhood! So when I tell you this breaks my heart, THIS BREAKS MY HEART 💔 to hear what happened Wednesday to our neighboring school! On a holiday that was created to share love ❤️ , and then evil struck! These communities are still great, proud to be living here. My husband and I send out our prayers to all these 17 viticims, their families, the wounded, those affected by this tradedy, and the city of Parkland! To all the brave men and women that day that served either in uniform or as a regular civilian we salute you!
Aaron Feis, an assistant football coach, was killed when he threw himself in front of students to protect them from oncoming bullets. Aaron and his family are members at our church; Church by the Glades-Sawgrass campus. As a church we come together at all the campuses to honor the victims and to worship our Lord and savior who is still King as we seek after his guidance and comfort and as we go thru such trying and confusing times. We ask for your mercy Lord🙏🏽! We didn’t personally know any of the victims but you are surely in our hearts and minds. And to those still recovering, stay strong! ... continues in comment 👇🏽
