Itโ€™s like all of a sudden it hit me like a ton of bricks. I am feeling every bit of the word BIG and am feeling more uncomfortable with each passing day. Feet, knees, and back ache. Crossing my legs and sitting like a lady just doesnโ€™t work. Thank the Lord it's flip flop season soon because putting on my socks and tying my shoes are nearly impossible to do myself anymore! ๐Ÿ™ˆ So now I know why a husband exists ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜˜โ €

I gained an entire 1" around my waist in just a few short days ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ37"โ €
My weight has stayed the same ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ 160 lbsโ €
I've had to upgrade my bra and pantie size... yet AGAIN! ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ‘™โ €

The little tortilla wrestles around all the time and still likes to nest in my upper right rib cage. I can physically feel his feet and butt when he pushes them hard enough up there. I also know when heโ€™s got the hiccups. Poor fella. As weird as it is, itโ€™s also the cutest feeling ever!! His head is down already and heโ€™s got no problem with pushing on my pelvic area๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™ƒ โ €

He still loves when his Momma works out but is making it much more difficult for her to breathe. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Iโ€™m still working out 5x a week, 1 hour group class each time and scaling most everything. Running distances, lighter loads, any and all gymnastics movements. Depending on how jumping feels, box jumps are step ups from time to time. Whenever core shows up in a workout I always sub with air squats. Even if thereโ€™s more squatting in the workout, Iโ€™ll still air squat. It feels THAT good ๐Ÿฅฐ โ €

Other than feeling large and like a total badass ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ and tiring a lot sooner than I normally would, everything else is going great! The bassinette and crib have arrived, Torts already got me doing his laundry ๐Ÿงบ๐Ÿ˜‚ and Mr. Louden Love is way more protective of me than ever... unsure of what to think of the baby room but knows something is up with his Mom ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿฝโ €

This is me round 2 of todayโ€™s little 3-rounder workout. Hang squat cleans, pull ups, and running. Thought I'd share just a snapshot of what my fitness looks like at a day away from 31 weeks prego!
Thatโ€™s real-time running speed right there too btw ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿข A 400 meter run takes me about 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
The barbell feels amazing. I could squat forever ๐Ÿ˜ Even though my waist grew another 1" this week, I'm really not having any issues with bar path... yet! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ There's no more hanging from the rig for me. Pull ups are either bent over rows or ring rows. Today, since the barbell was already out, I went with barbell bent over rows.
Hope all you beautiful, fit prego mommas out there find this video helpful! I know it's easier said than done but keep working out when you can and your body feels capable - it's so so good for you and the babe! โŒโญ•๏ธโŒโญ•๏ธ

I see the Dr every 2 weeks now so had another check up yesterday. Iโ€™m healthy and he is perfect. His heart beats louder than it ever has and his kicks get more aggressive with each passing day. ๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿผ โ €

My waist is up another 1/2" ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ36" โ €
My weight is up another 1 pound ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ162โ €

Things are starting to get uncomfortable. The little tort likes to stick his butt (well, I think it's his butt anyway๐Ÿคช) in my upper right rib cage making it hard to breathe - especially when working out. I'm starting to feel some of what I felt in trimester 1. Simple tasks like walking up the stairs, carrying laundry, scrubbing the kitchen floor is much more difficult! I'm also seeing a little swelling in my ankles. It's hard for me to slow my speed and sit down for 5 minutes so keeping the swelling to a minimum will be a challenge for the next 10 weeks for sure! โ €

Aside from feeling huge and managing maneuvering my way around ๐Ÿคฃ nothing makes me happier than knowing I can still workout every single day. It's literally been the best stress relief for me. It's the absolute most favorite hour of my day and Iโ€™m just thankful for that and good health. I'm scaling pretty much everything at this point in the gym and running at turtle pace ๐Ÿข The barbell is still holding strong but there's lots less weight being moved around. Now that things have really changed in the gym, more videos are sure to come! โ €

Nutrition game is still awesome! Gonna finish this marathon strong by jumping on my Go Far Fitness nutrition train here again soon! 30 days will go fast but it'll keep me accountable and will give the babe so many vital nutrients and minerals while he takes on his final growth spurt! โ €

I always knew that pregnant women were badass... but I just gotta say, now that this bump of mine is like really real LOL, pregnant women are seriously ROCKSTARS!!! Iโ€™ll save all of that for another post but in the meantime, next time you see a pregnant mother-to-be just tell them theyโ€™re beautiful and remind them how absolutely amazing they are! ๐Ÿ’™โ €
