It's been that kind of weekend. Lots of quiet alone time 🙏sprinkled with girly tv, a sunny half marathon, a cheers or two with great friends and a teeny bit of work. Hubs is home now and feet are up. Happy Sunday night!
60 degrees, sunshine and windows open today.... but it's still February and I ❤️ winter, so I'm soaked in my dual-minded Gemini-ness big time right now!
Finishing listening to @jodipicoult's book "Leaving Time" tonight... such incredible research and writing about elephants. There's so much about these incredible creatures that draws me in... their eyes and emotions top among them. 🐘 Grateful for a dream job that lets me sink right in and help protect them every single day! #IFAWlife
A warm week here in New England, but I can't help sending more snow up to my Instagram feed! I've been reminiscing on my time in Banff and nearby Canmore lately. 🏔 I spent one summer month and countless winter weeks out there, to the point where Calgary Int'l Airport probably won't let me back in at this point (long story involving too much camera gear and a suspected love affair with @juliesvea). As I peek over to @darrenagray and @kellyscottgray's Insta tonight, it seems they've been on my mind for a reason! CONGRATS on welcoming a beautiful little baby girl this week! XO
Of all the places I know this world will take me, even the places I still want to live, there's no place I'd rather say I come from. Born and raised, on the inside and out. #newengland
Despite the waist- and sometimes shoulder-high powder on the trails yesterday, this champion hiking dog, Katahdin, found no less than 38 sticks for us to toss - living up to his reputation for sure. Thanks for adding the canine companionship @z_kane 🐾
