I know I share transformation pics a lot, but I am so proud of the progress I've made over the last few years, so I'm sharing again. Fight me. 😋
Little known fact about me: When I first joined the military, I almost got kicked out of basic training in the first week because I couldn't pass the fitness test (I couldn't do a push up to save my life, and back then, they were a part of the fitness requirement). I managed to pull it together at the last possible minute and meet the minimum requirements, but it was embarrassing. I didn't want to feel like that ever again.
I was weak, soft, lazy, and unmotivated.
But things are different now. I found my motivation. I became strong. I fell in love with lifting weights, and became and inspiration for others. I watched my body transform, slowly but surely, from a Gumby physique to lean and athletic.
Lifting weights did not make me "manly" or "bulky". Instead, it enhanced my curves and built new curves where there weren't any before. My confidence has soared through the roof, and I fell in love with myself in a way that I didn't think was ever possible, and no one can take that away from me.
Tldr; I am heckin' proud of the progress I've made, inside and out. 💪🏻💕
