It's my grandma's birthday! Today she took cookies and candy to the radiation center where she just finished her own recent cancer treatment. When they asked if she had an appointment, she said "no, but it's my 80th birthday today and you guys saved my life," before distributing her offerings to the people administering and receiving care. Sweet treats are a small thing, but little gestures drive the world's goodness. I'm honestly so inspired by her, and I hope to continue her legacy of being grateful and giving when I'm 80, 30, and tomorrow.
