Well hey! 2018 came with a lot of wins..winning another state championship and actually being the second fastest woman of the day under a pro! (Literally still shocked), winning the honorable @canyonvelo “Rider of the Year” alongside the amazing George Tomasich, being lucky enough to finally become a part of the @gritcycle family💙 (Wednesday 10:45 in AH come ride with me!!!) 💙...and having an amazing man, holding my hand, truly fighting for me (the real me!) cheering me on and keeping it real at all times! ⭐️ GRATEFUL ⭐️ ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ What you don’t see in the pics are some pretty tough losses along the way...in fact, without those losses I’m not even sure I’d have the drive to push forward.
Without dirt, there’s nothing to clean up. Without failure, there’s no gratification in success.
There’s something about falling and getting back up that makes me push harder, dig deeper and fight with everything I’ve got left. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ So, thanks for the pics, #top9of2018 but the wins are only half of my story (as I would imagine is the case for anyone living this life thingy)...it’s a super tough show sometimes and I’m so fucking grateful I have my growing circle of reals to hold me together when I’m all messy and tell me to keep going.
I love you guys! (wipes tear)
