Sonny Bill Williams  Proud husband and father, Forever grateful to the most high.

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen. Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world. Our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self acceptance.” - Aunty @brenebrown 👌🏽 See you tomorrow night, can’t wait! Lessss Gooooooo 🤲🏽❤️

Day off well spent at Otago Boys High School. What a privilege it was for me to get amongst it today- thank you brothers ❤️ Special mention to Enoka Taufua for the invite to come and share but more importantly observe the wonderful work you’re doing with our pacific island young men. I take my hat off to all teachers who go above and beyond for our rangatahi, what you do makes more of an impact then anything I do out there on that field 💯 Beautiful day and inspired to get back to mahi tomorrow and God willing finish out the week strong with my All Black brothers.

Quick hit out with skip @kieranread08 #TeamRehab ay uso haha! Can’t wait to watch our AB brothers out there tonight and cheer them on!! Lesssss Goooooo ❤️

What a blessing it is to be back a little earlier than anticipated 🤲🏽 must be all those ice bags I purchased to help with my recovery straight after the op (shout out my local service station you know who you are bro haha!) Really enjoying my role helping my AB brothers prep well for another go against the French this week! Lessssss Goooooooo 👊🏽

Because you know... 🤷🏽‍♂️ who doesn’t break out into song after waking up from surgery?? 😳😅😂😂 I just want 2 reiterate that the medication they give you for surgery is very strong okay -but I also feel like maybe the staff took advantage of me (I’m joking 😂) thanks 2 the nurses and team for putting up with me hahaha! Blessings fam❤️

Just got home from the hospital. Obviously by now news is out that I won’t be available for the June series coming up. If I’m going to be completely honest, in the past these small set backs would have a huge effect on me both mentally and emotionally. You start to obsess over things you can’t control and you hide how you really feel to avoid looking vulnerable. What I’m learning though is that ‘vulnerability’ is actually where the true power is 👊🏽 Admitting that I cant always control the outcomes but I can control my thoughts and feelings toward them. So I choose to be grateful ❤️ I want to also add that I appreciate the love and support from everyone - Alhumdulliah it was only a small op but the Doc said it was successful 🤲🏽❤️ I’m going to miss running out there with the Blues/All Blacks however I’m genuinely excited to watch my fellow midfield brothers in that black jersey showcase their amazing skills! I look forward at the opportunity to help the team where I can but for now - better help my wife with these nappies 😂 blessings and love always - SBW ❤️

Alofa atu nei, alofa mai taeao - love given loved gained ❤ proud of my Samoan heritage, and my girls sure love their Samoan food “chop suey” on the menu tonight! #SamoanlanguageWeek

Today is “International Kangaroo Care Awareness Day” ❤ This day is all about recognising skin-to-skin for parents with their little ones & the importance of skin-to-skin. Both our girls came through the NICU ward, where they encourage the “kangaroo cuddle”, as this has scientifically been proven that kangarooed babies thrive better. Babies bonding with dad, are babies who breastfeed better for Mum. Not only does kangaroo care benefit these tiny babies, but it also helps to reduce stress for us parents. As a father, handling my babies with all their tubes was frightening, but they’re completely safe & the benefits far outweigh the fear. Huge thank you to the staff in the NICU Ward at Auckland Hospital for having my wife and I visit to encourage new Dads ❤️ @starshipfoundation @the_neonatal_trust
