This has been a tragic week for all of us in Napa and Sonoma County.
The fires in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties have been burning for seven days now. They have been devastating to families, businesses, vineyards and wineries in the area. We continue to be thankful that no one on our team has been injured. Authorities have reported significant progress with containment of the wildfires. Little to no growth is occurring and smoke is down dramatically. Fire officials are confident that the fires will remain within the secured perimeter they've created.
After assessing the situation, we have decided to re-open our tasting rooms in St. Helena and Rutherford beginning Monday, October 16th.
For the month of October we are proud to announce, all tasting fees will be donated to fire relief funds to support recovery. In addition, Craig and Kathryn Hall have set up a fire relief fund through Redwood Credit Union and are matching donations to the fund. We look forward to getting back to work, welcoming visitors again, and restoring this incredibly special valley. We hope to see you soon!
Our President Mike Reynolds captured Bunny Foo Foo today with the fires burning to the west along the Mayacamas Mountains.
