Haaay πŸ‘‹πŸΌπŸ‘‹πŸΌ so I know I've been MIA for "a hot sec" as @fittie_lex says. I mentioned work was busy a few weeks ago with all good things and that busy-ness has quadrupled! Lots of amazing speaking opportunities and oh ya I'm going to Australia 😱. For those of you that have crazy schedules how do you find the time to focus on your Instagram page? I'm still finding time to work out six days a week and eat clean for the most part (except for when my amazing coworker saw I was stressed and bought me a doughnut the size of my face). πŸ˜‚ Anyway, it's been tough to find the time to take pics and be focused on Instagram right now but once things slow down I'll be right back here. Shoutout to the always amazing @makfitlife for still texting me every day and keeping me on my A game even if I don't answer for 12 hours πŸ™ˆ.

Sunday night desserts!!! 🍦Whipped up some banana nice cream and topped it with some of a double chocolate peanut butter @lennyandlarrys complete cookie! πŸͺ I love anything and everything peanut butter flavored and this dessert satisfied any Reese's or sugary cravings I've been having this weekend. πŸ˜›

A little behind on the #transformationtuesday post after 27 straight weeks of bbg! Work has been super busy with very exciting things happening, so I've had to put my fitness Instagram on hold for a few days! I still have been working out every day and even though I've slipped up with eating clean here and there, it's so important to remember how far I've come. The thing that's great about bbg is that it's so easy to do even when you have a busy schedule. On days that I know I'll be working late, I can wake up and work out for 28 minutes and then I'm done for the day! It's so easy to stay on track while doing @kayla_itsines guides and that's why it's worked for so many women. πŸ’ž

Today's lunch was my all time favorite salad combination! Mixed greens, cranberries, apples, walnuts, feta cheese, and oil & vinegar dressing. Super easy to make and so delicious! Usually I'll add some chicken or tofu to get my protein in, but it's Friday and I ran out of food in my apt πŸ™ˆ. Hope you all have a great weekend!!! I'm off to @fittie_lex house tomorrow for some St. Patrick day celebrations!

Literally me this morning πŸ˜‚. The problem with being part of a city gym...it's alwaysssss crowded! (So gym selfies are usually a big no no πŸ™ˆ) Once in a blue moon it's empty and today was that beautiful day! πŸ’ͺ🏼

A little bit of face transformation with my one and only @fittie_lex! From drinking our faces off for college Mardi Gras celebrations two years ago to making protein pancakes the morning of the picture on the right together, we've both come a long way in these last two years. We're both healthier, happier, stronger and more confident. We still have our cheat meals here and there, but the progress speaks for itself if you work hard! How I get through my morning LISS sessions! πŸ“– Some people watch Netflix, some people listen to music, I get lost in books! Reading a good book on the treadmill makes the 45 minutes FLYYY by. I just finished this book this morning and absolutely loved it. If anyone has any good book recommendations for my next book, comment below!!! 😘😘

Officially completed TWO rounds of bbg 1.0 this past Sunday!!! I seriously cannot believe I've been doing bbg for SIX freaking months already! Time flies when you're having fun. But seriously. Because I'm actually having the best time of my life while I'm on this bbg journey. Just today alone I've wanted to cry of happiness twice because of how amazing this community is. (Shoutout to @makfitlife and @zeniakim 😍). I feel so strong, healthy and happy after these past six months of working my butt off. Thank you @kayla_itsines for creating a program that essentially never has to end. I believe that's why everyone has a continuation of amazing progress every few weeks all the time. I started 2.0 yesterday and am already loving it. (Yes I even enjoyed legs!!!) I can't wait to do another 12 weeks of bbg and see how far I can continue to come. πŸ’žπŸ’ͺ🏼

Made some delicious and healthy banana oat muffins this afternoon!!! I just got back from a fun filled birthday weekend upstate for @fittie_lex and @amandaxleighh. A healthy weekend turned into a not so healthy one after their open bar and pizza happened πŸ™ˆπŸ•. Getting back on my healthy comfort food grind now with these delicious muffins!

A year and a half difference between these pictures. I remember taking this picture before starting a different workout program because I was so miserable with how I looked. I only stuck with the workout program for a few weeks and was still was so unhappy and disheartened. 6 months ago I finally began bbg and have been hooked ever since. Thanks @kayla_itsines ☺️. Sometimes I get a bit down on myself if I don't look exactly how I expect I should look after six months and it's important to remember how far my body has come and that I can't compare myself to anybody else. The picture on the left is a representation of my eating, drinking and exercise habits. The picture on the right represents heathy eating, working out 6 times a week and loving it, sleeping well and limiting the drinking by A LOT. Bbg has become a huge part of my life not just because I'm finally happy with how I look, but because I truly am healthy again. If anyone has doubts about bbg, I promise I also never expected I would be able to go from my left picture to my right, but I did! And you can too.

These banana oat pancakes have become one of my favorite breakfast options. I take the ingredients above and just throw them into a blender. Once everything is blended, I pour them onto a pan and I have delicious and healthy pancakes in less than five minutes! The portions above make about two servings of pancakes, so I usually eat half and wrap up the other stack for the next morning. Top with your choice of fruit, and it's an instant delicious meal!

Tonight's dinner! Slow cooked skinny honey garlic chicken, broccoli and onions served over brown rice πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ. Eating clean doesn't have to be boring! A huge reason I never could see myself hopping on board with a healthy diet was because I thought it was so limited. I was veryyy wrong! It's so easy to make clean meals that are delicious and filling! Especially these days there are so many websites out there devoted to clean and delicious home cooked recipes.
