Many people are curious on what #hydrodip is, and most have it wrong. Hydrodip is a process of transferring a pattern through water transfer. We basically take the same steps as painting a car and it is time consuming to be done correctly. The part gets thoroughly cleaned, primed if needed, base coated, dipped in a tank of water with a pattern of your choosing sitting on the surface (carbon is the most popular), then the part dries, and lastly it's clearcoated to protect it. We can also custom tailor the base coat color to change the actual color appearance of the carbon. For instance if we base coated this part in red, it would have been a red carbon fiber result. The pics show a before and after on what we can achieve. The base coat is a graphite color with a hint of metallic to give it a slight "pop". For any and all Inquiries, please send us a DM.
