I live in the Netherlands where it’s custom for woman to wear pants in their every day life, dresses are mostly worn when there’s a reason to dress up
In my culture woman are not supposed to leave the house until they are ‘dressed up’
The way you dress, how you behave and what you accomplish is a representation of your household, your upbringing and family
It shows that you’re well taken care off and take yourself seriously
And besides we all know how good it feels when you finally have the time to take good care of yourself!
So when I have to go outside, mostly in the rain with a zillion baby stuff, I can look down and still feel like I’m not a complete wreck running around lol 😂🙈 On a serious note I still don’t really feel comfortable in pants but I have to admit it’s been a pleasant surprise, I thought I’d feel so naked since it’s like a second skin but they are far more comfortable than they look, they fit like a glove, they don’t sag, no gaps either, allot of stretch, beautiful color and quality !
I’m definitely not willing to give up my dresses, but it’s nice to change it up maybe once or twice a year
What do you think? Was it worth it? 😬
