@buddhadevi_ on insta: "SORT OF IN DEPTH SKIN CARE ROUTINE LOL. IT IS SO MUCH READING I CAN'T EVEN. I had to make a #selflove post. I've had cystic acne since the 8th grade. I edit my pictures. I edit my pores. I edit my pimples. The pictures I posted were from my first two years in college. Everyone used to make me feel like shit because of my acne. I couldn't wear makeup so people would say "you need to fix your face." I would miss school because I was ashamed of my face. Every time family came over they asked "what's going on with your face" "go see a dermatologist." I did. For 6 months. They didn't do shit but make it worse for me. My skin is sensitive. Anything triggers it, mostly dairy. If you touch my face, I get pimples. If my hair touches it, I get pimples. I got my period today, and I know when it's approaching because I get pimples. My pillow cases, my bedsheets. I still get pimples, not as bad, but it's still there. I go to school without makeup freely now. I don't care if anyone sees me off Instagram without makeup. I look better on Instagram? So?
I love myself. I love the way I look. And I'd be damned if I ever let another human being tell me what I should and shouldn't look like. Idc what anyone says. Tag the owner! {c: @buddhadevi_ } -

Thoughts on differing gel? I've only heard it works on oily skins so far...

Great result takes time.
@asapmarissa on insta: "LETS BE REAL! πŸ’” acne is so common and a pain to deal with. I've been through the MOST and I'm sure many people can relate. Makeup for me, not just being an art form, was a way to cover my acne and boost my confidence but all in all, acne IS normal and is not something that we should be ashamed about. I've struggled with acne and breakouts for about 3 years. I've been to the dermatologist and I've used literally everything on the market. NOTHING seemed to work. The second picture was taken ONE year ago in July, and the first one was taken today, NO makeup and no filters, just back camera flash. My skin IS NOT perfect and don't know if it will ever be, but this is my journey. I've been using these products for the last 3 months and my skin has drastically changed. Although I'll still have occasional breakouts, it's not like it was before. OK SO HERES WHAT I USE AND HOW I USE IT! Cetaphil daily wash! It's for sensitive skin and dermatologist recommended. It was super hyped so I thought I would try it and loooove it. I was every twice with this! second is a benzoyl peroxide wash. I only use this once a week because it's drying but IT WORKS. benzoyl peroxide is antibacterial so it DEEP cleans under the surface of the skin and prevents new acne from forming. NEXT are salicylic acid acne wipes!! I only use these every other day and if needed. salicylic acid removes the first layer of your skin gently so it's great for acne discoloration and for unclogging pores!! next are the moisturizers I USE for day and night. they don't clog your skin and they keep your skin hydrated!! ANOTHER BIG KEY TO SUCCESS for me personally was DIET! I found that my skin WAS LIVINGGGGG!! this is what worked for me and keep in mind everyone's skin is different but hopefully you found this helpful! my dms are always open."
